First Wind is a flute and guitar duo based in Phoenix, Arizona featuring Rhonda Bowen on flute and Jeff Lauffer on classical guitar.  Rhonda and Jeff have both been performing professionally for over 20 years and have entertained the idea of putting this group together for some time.  Flute and guitar is a very popular duo combination and is a perfect marriage of sound as both instruments perfectly compliment each other.  This instrumentation also lends itself well to many styles of music from Folk to Jazz, Latin, Classical, and even Pop.  Click here to see a list of our diverse repertoire!  First Wind Duo is perfect for weddings ceremonies, cocktail hours, dinner parties, wine tastings or corporate events.  It is suitable for any event or venue that would benefit from soft music that is both tasteful and elegant.
